“Connections must be improved”

Most parties have already nominated their state parliament candidates. We present these in a small series in the coming weeks and start today with the SPD candidate ralf pohl from theisenort (kreis kronach).

FT: what will be the main topics of your election campaign??
Ralf pohl: the central issue for our region is demographic change and its consequences. In the election campaign, the focus is therefore on concepts to increase the attractiveness of the counties of kronach and lichtenfels as business locations and places to live. What is important here is the provision of modern infrastructure. This includes, for example, educational facilities as well as leisure activities, broadband supply or transport connections. The cooperation of the business community with the upper franconian universities and the demand for a basis for existence also play a rough role. Furthermore, the financial resources of the municipalities are an important issue, as their investments make a decisive contribution to a good infrastructure and a high quality of life.

Keyword relocation of authorities – what can be achieved here for the district of kronach??
A relocation of authorities brought qualified and usually well-paid jobs to the county. The state government could thus provide an important impetus for the development of the region. The transfer was promised by the CSU before the last district council election, and the district also applied as a location; unfortunately, nothing has happened since then. We will of course keep this important demand.

Only eu actionism?

Only eu actionism?

Admittedly, four votes from lichtenfels on a survey in which 4.6 million people across the eu took part are anything but representative. But what was indicative about four of them is a certain passion for the subject.

Because why else would you have to spend all your time going through an online catalog of questions? But the offer to participate in such a survey, which the eu commission may consider to be a service close to the burgers, can also have a "gschmackle" effect on them and drive them to beyond a trust in the eu. Above all, the question arises as to why it should take weeks before the final result is announced. But that’s not all, because the fact that the results of the survey will by no means be binding is also a source of surprise. In the end, it was even the EU commission itself that warned against attaching too much importance to the survey. So it’s no wonder that burgers also discuss the suspicion that once again it’s just been actionism. This is how the EU can hardly get rid of the widespread image of a bureaucratic association.

The a3 is getting closer and closer to buch

The a3 is getting closer and closer to buch

The A3 expansion between schlusselfeld and the furth/erlangen interchange is running at full speed. Construction sites along the main european artery are taking on ever more impressive dimensions. Probably the residents of the gremsdorf district of buch will be the first to notice – especially those whose garden fence borders directly on the highway construction site.

This is where gremsdorf councillor monika pfann lives with her family. For the next few years, she will have a rough construction site right in front of her house – and later, the traffic will rush past her property on six lanes even eight meters closer than before.

Deliberately built here

The pfanns were not surprised by the widening of the A3, by the way. "Even when we were building here, we knew that the freeway would have six lanes", says monika pfann. However, she and her fellow council members stefanie hahn and andreas hahn, who also live in buch, originally assumed that the autobahn would not only be widened on one side in the direction of buch, but to the west and to the east as well.

A domicile for the threshing machine

A domicile for the threshing machine

"I promised that. And what I have promised, I deliver." Bernhard wahler gave this promise to karl hannwacker, who had procured a threshing machine for the 1200th anniversary of ebenhausen in 1988 and donated it to the village or to the town of schlockenau. The carnival club, which is dedicated to the preservation of the local history and customs, was the.

When karl hannwacker fell seriously ill a few years ago, bernhard wahler promised him that he would continue to take care of the threshing machine grief. This was housed in a hall on leitenweg. But this building was getting more and more outdated and finally had to be demolished.

Disaster in the rail tunnel: mega robbery works out perfectly

Disaster in the rail tunnel: mega robbery works out perfectly

Cries for help from the darkness, shrill screams from the smoke, bleeding people waiting for rescue and care. It was a terrible scene that took place in the depths of the egg mountain railroad tunnel. The very realistic disaster rehearsal on saturday, which involved around 650 emergency personnel and 200 vehicles, is now within reach.

Curious and questioning looks along the village and access roads to the event. People marveled at the array of vehicles whose martinshorns could be heard or who drove past them with blue lights, marveled at the federal police helicopter.

Heavy equipment, on the way because of a scenario that had been prepared for a long time: a train that comes to a halt in a tunnel on fire and smoking, with injured passengers who can’t be seen for all the smoke and are therefore difficult to save.
